DIFFERENT. EXCITING. SPECTACULAR. EXIT FESTIVAL 2019
(Comparing to all the other festivals on the list of Indie Festivals Europe, this one is quite big, we know – but its story is amazing and it just needed to be included)
Exit Festival is one of the best European music festivals, founded in 2000 in the Novi Sad University park as a student movement; a form of protest against the government, fighting for peace and democracy in Serbia and the Balkans.
In 2001, festival moved to the iconic Petrovaradin Fortress and this decision helped catapulting Exit’s popularity first in Serbia, and soon after that all across Europe, eventually the world.
Twenty-something festival stages, music industry’s biggest names, awesome atmosphere… Exit is really something special and if you’re a true fan of European summer music festivals, this one, that takes place in Serbia’s second biggest city, Novi Sad, you definitely shouldn’t miss.
